I would not be without them

04 Jul

My brothers and my sisters mean all the world to me

They are my rock, they are my life, they are my cup of tea

I would not be without them, in my life, it’s true

I’ll stand by them forever, no matter what they do

They have made me tear my hair out and given me the blues

They have borrowed my best dresses and even wore my shoes

I would not be without them in my life it’s true

I’ll stand by them forever, no matter what they do

My brothers are so dear to me and fill my life with pride

The jokes the laughs and funny times, tears we tried to hide

I would not be without them in my life it’s true

I’ll stand by them forever, no matter what they do

The six of us together all sharing hopes and dreams

And all our  laughter mixed with happy teardrop streams

I would not be without them in my life it’s true

I’ll stand by them forever no matter what they do

We’ve overcome the saddest times our love has kept us whole

The bond we share is from the heart and deep within our soul

I would not be without them in my life it’s true

I’ll stand by them forever no matter what they do

Hi boobuloo, yes they are quite wonderful and we all get on well, but of course we do still have our “little moments” even though we are all grown up now 🙂

This definitely finds an echo in my life. My brother and cousins shared/ still share the feelings, you so beautifully described. Loved this.
