Tiny little matchstick men

05 Jun

Tiny little matchstick men sitting in a row

All of you discussing, where you’d like to go

I hear you say, “away from here to somewhere far away”

I have to say quite truthfully you won’t be going today

Oh, tiny little matchstick men you look a lovely sight

You really can’t go anywhere if you tried with all your might

You see, you’re on a piece of paper and it’s begun to rain

You will now be turned to mush and not be seen again

I have enjoyed reading your blog and I hope that all goes well for you.
I like your poetry too and look forward to seeing the Wallace section.
I have also followed some of your previous work on a site called Annexcafe too, I like your style
